Philosophy
Our Occupational Therapy team helps to promote student participation in meaningful occupations in the school setting. Our OTs match a child’s skills to the unique demands of their school environment through underlying skill development, modifications, and supports, so students can be successful and maintain their independence.
Approach
Occupational Therapy remains evidence-based, strengths-based, and student-centered. Members of our OT team evaluate and assess a student’s underlying skills and needs and provide appropriate intervention and accommodations across the school environment. The Occupational Therapists collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and families to support the student’s home environment and community access.
