Support Groups

Sargent Center staff of trained professionals understand that physical and learning disabilities, neurological disorders, physical injuries, brain injuries, behavioral difficulties and social and emotional delayed development impact the entire family. Sargent Center offers support groups, educational seminars and information designed to assist individuals with disabilities, their family members and community members.

The groups are designed to provide education, technical assistance, and most importantly, a place to discuss concerns with people who are struggling with the same issues. Support groups are generally held once per month in the evening at the Center. Check back for new dates of our next brain injury support groups.

Since attending Sargent, my son has learned what it means to be independent. He looks forward to getting on the school bus every morning and has learned a scheduled routine. His speech has progressed beautifully! Our family feels so much love and support by the Center, and we cannot thank them enough for all that they've done for us!"
